The biology and chemistry portions are thorough and there are not as many practice questions. I strongly recommend researching online for additional practice questions and having additional resources for organic chemistry and physics. It does however cover the main topics of everything that is to be expected on the test. Best wishes to you all taking your optometry admissions test.
I used this book + a couple of sample test apps to practice for the OAT and was able to score a very good score. The two practice tests provided in the book are a very helpful guide to show you where you need to focus your studies as well as give you a good exam as to how the actual OAT is structured and will feel like.
