I am a professional magician and have traveled throughout the world, and I have to say that this is one of the most intriguing magic stories ever written. The author painstakingly goes through one Houdini trick, weaving into it the lives of luminaries including Arthur Conan Doyle. A wonderful book.

An incredibly detailed account of just one of Houdini's magic tricks. It is obvious that the author did extensive research on this trick and he uncovers a lot of previously unknown information about Houdini and his associates. A very interesting read.
