It arrived in about a week, which was great. The book itself; cover and pictures, are really cool. The cover is soft and bright, the pictures are done well. The story is just as it always was, I only wish there was one more page, saying goldilocks made it home safe. It ends with "the three bears never saw her again". Which is unusual but It's cool because there is no villain. All in all, we would still like to see her home safe. We collect these books, have three and hope to own them all!
I was looking for a board book version of this classic children's story. It fits the bill in terms of quality of board book and a decent retelling of the story. I will say that we have multiple versions of the 3 bears story (my daughter went through a bear phase) and her preferred telling is The Three Bears the Little Golden Book classic. However, as I said, I needed a board book version of the book, and this one came through.
This classic has now become a favorite of my 3 year old's! The illustrations are wonderful and I crack up every time I get to the last page with Goldilocks running as fast as her little legs will carry her!Wonderfully told version of the classic tale, and I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to share this adorable tale of Goldilocks and the three bears.
I would have preferred a little more repetition in the language, and there are a lot of words on the pages for such a small book, but the little ones love it. Pictures are great, and very non-threatening.
This version is weird. The language is awkward and changed from the familiar version. Goldilocks doesn't say "just right" she says "perfect?"
I am a kinder teacher and was looking for a great version of Goldilocks & the Three Bears to use in my class. After borrowing it from another teacher I decided this was the version to purchase for my collection.
we read this book every dang night. Its cute, i love how big the pages are, great illustrations, over all really cute! We've had this book for about 5-6 months.. i could read this with my eyes closed lol
Very good book ! My grandson loves this book !!! I also read it to his preschool class . The children were very engaged.
