I was searching for the perfect Keepsake Book for my first baby and since this had rave reviews I thought I'd purchase it. I really like the tips on what to bring to the Hospital, pages to write about the baby shower and gifts received, and I love how it's divided into the different years of growth. I also like how much information I can write regarding our checkup visits, headlines in the year of birth, and an "about us" section. My only complaint is that the lines for some of the questions are too short so it ends up looking sloppy. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend buying this book at a bookstore!! When Amazon shipped it to me, the front of the binder and corners were dinged. Also, some of the dividers were bent and pages were ripping out. It's a great book if you get it shipped safe and secure!! There was minimal packaging material in it and the box was way bigger than the book so I am certain that is how the dings came about. Overall, it is a great book and the neutral colors are perfect! Mindy Weiss did a great job of creating this!
I love this neutral baby book! I actually lost mine because it was ruined in the recent Louisiana flooding and I loved it so much I ordered another one to replace it. It is made pretty sturdy and I like that it is binder style. The different age sections are divided with tabbed folders so that you have a place to keep documents. There is also a clear plastic zippered pouch to hold items. I found out from experience that it's not waterproof though. The removable pages have a lot of prompts and questions to help you if you aren't really creative, but there are also blank areas if you are. The packaging also includes a growth chart to measure your child's height.
I am pretty upset that the book came to me not looking brand new. It was dirty on the outside. I bought it for myself, and am trying to make it look better however I would not recommend to order it, especially if it is for a gift.
I received this as a gift for my first born and it has been one of my favorite. I loved it so much I bought one for my second pregnancy. If you want to give someone a sentimental gift, this is a great one! I’ve documented so much about each child and plan to give this to them one day. It also includes checklists and areas to keep photos, cards, and other mementos. I absolutely love this baby keepsake book/planner.
I love this book. It has wonderful prompts to help preserve memories. I also like that it goes from pregnancy to three years old. I purchased one for my firstborn, and now I have purchased another for my new bundle of joy! It also comes with pockets and a ziploc-style bag to save mementos. I'm so glad that I have this to preserve special events/moments about my children.
Ordered 1 for myself and 1 for a friend. Both of our books arrived damaged so we both exchanged. The next book I got was nice on the outside but some pages inside are creased. Which is very annoying to look at. My friend is waiting on hers and from there we will decide if we are going to keep them. The book is very cute, but packaging quality is poor. Might help to package tighter and include more bubble wrap.
I love the format of this book, especially the way the photo pages are separate so no page looks incomplete without a photo. However, mine came with some scratches on the front cover and some kind of tacky gray stuff on it. I was able to remove most of the sticky stuff.
Great quality. Pages can be added or removed as needed. Lots of memories can be kept in the book.
