Once again, Craig Romano unveils year round adventures in this great addition to his ‘Urban Trails’ series. I have them all and use them all and love them all. This one was full of surprises - I thought I had finished hiking/walking all the Seattle trails. No way! And his consistent attention to detail & accuracy has helped so many of us that are out on the state’s beautiful trails.
First of all, the size of the book is great! I love the fact that it's a good size for reading and carrying along. Seattle and the rest of areas included in this book, are mostly sets of trails. So it's important to take it along with you. I do hiking all year long: mountains, lakes, creeks, rivers, meadows... everything! In the Winter, I am starting now with urban hikes and totally enjoying them. I don't meed a lot of gear and still get the feeling of working out in the outdoors with a different perspective... not far from civilization....once in awhile is awesome! I am preparing my second collection of Craig Romano's books, with this new series by area. I'm super excited!
